Are mobile dog groomers better?

No. Mobile dog groomers aren't better, but do offer the convenience of comming to you. This is especially important if you have a hard time taking your dog to a groomer due to the dog's age and mobility issues or due to the dog's size. You also avoid getting your car full of hairs and save the time you would have lost taking your dog and later picking them back up.

How often should I groom my dog?

This will depend on the dog's breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Generally indoor dogs will stay cleaner and may require less frequent grooming. As a general guideline consider 4-6 weeks between grooming for short haired dogs and 4 weeks for long haired dogs if you want to maintain the look. You can do a bath only session between groomings to keep your pup clean and smelling fresh too if you want to spread out the gooming sessions.
